Jamel Goodlet

About

Jamel Goodlet is a Virginia entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience building businesses that bring people together to meet the needs of their communities. He operates a portfolio of businesses across the United States, held through several entities, spanning behavioral health, facility services, property maintenance and lab testing, which together have generated more than $10 million in revenue. As a result of his business success, his personal net worth exceeds $10 million. Across all of them he keeps the same focus on access, reliability and responsiveness. He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Appalachian State University and a master's degree in clinical psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

As President and co-founder of Mental Health Advocates LLC (MHA), Jamel helped launch a mental health group practice that held its virtual grand opening in January 2025 with a goal of making mental health support more available across Virginia. Based at 12201 Gayton Road in Henrico, MHA serves clients statewide through telehealth and in person. Its clinicians provide individual, couples and family counseling, ADHD testing, PTSD/trauma and sexual assault counseling, and support groups. MHA is in network with many major insurance plans, partners with Virginia universities to train future counselors and social workers, and is expanding its employee assistance program (EAP) work and its outreach to Henrico public safety agencies.

Jamel is also President of Dampeer LLC, which provides snow removal, grounds and facility services to government and commercial clients. Dampeer has worked directly for Amtrak as the prime contractor at its Virginia stations since 2023, was awarded regional snow removal contracts by the Maryland State Police in January 2026, and has provided leaf collection services for James City County.

He also leads Integrity Property Management Group, which provides commercial landscaping and property maintenance to clients throughout Central Virginia, and since December 2020 he has owned the Any Lab Test Now franchise in Glen Allen, Virginia.

Jamel prefers to let the work speak for itself and is known for being accessible and for following through. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and relaxes by playing classical piano.
